The promo is about the size of a large ddm figure (e.g. Balor)
The smallest WOW mini I have seen (a gnome) is about 10% larger than snig (but on the same base size as the promo)
either of those could be used with ddm figures, though you would need to re-base the gnome.
It's the medium sized figures which are seriously incompatable with ddm. The humans/elves/orcs are about 40mm
Some of those might be OK as aspects of gods/demons. i.e. you couldn't use a wow orc as a ddm-orc. But you might use one as an aspect of Grumsh.

For large fogs of normal (medium) monsters there are always easy ways to explain larger sizes... in 3.5 the enlarge spell is the easiest solution, via caster or potion.
