I can't wait for this game to come out, so far I really like all the previewed minis.  Glad to see that maxminis is supporting this game.  I don't post much on this site, but I read every day.

I'm worried about the cost, if its significantly more expensive than D&D Mini's then I won't be buying very many...likewise I have only bought a few Dreamblade figs because of the same problem/issue.... cost. I'm not into the competition nor the actual game (DB), but a few looked nice for FRPGs... its always nice to spring unique things on the players.

Individually the figures are more expensive than ddm. But you only need 3 figures for a warband.
Indeed your guarenteed to get a playable warband from a single booster, which actually makes starting the game cheaper than ddm.

If you collect the entire set, that would be more expensive (about 65% more) than a ddm set.
But if you collect a "playset" of each. ddm would be more expensive, since you would want multiples of many ddm figures.

I am looking forward to trying WoW Miniatures game.Â

I am going to the "Release" event later today at FLGS.Â

I picked up a booster and starter set the other day and I do agree cost for 1 booster seems expensive, but only need 3 for a warband seems ok.  I will be interested to see what interest the game generates and what costs will be generated in the singles market (ie ebay).Â
