I think the look of the miniatures is great. The style of WoW and Warcraft in general is always 'larger than life' and very cartoonish. I think this translates very, very well to the miniatures game at this scale.

I like the 360-degree spinner view on the minis. You can "hold" the spinner and get a decent look at various parts of the minis.
The look of most of the ones I've seen on their site seem pretty good. I'm a little worried about the cost, and I'm not likely to collect them. But, for RPG purposes, I might lay my hands on a few.
My son has run a WoW RPG for years and I'd bet he'll pick up a few.
