Subject: damage reduction question?

"Reduce damage dealt to this ship by 1" on the Executor or Viscount Class 1 ships.
How do you handle this, take 1 point of damage from each successful hit or take 1 point of damage per round?

You have it wrong

Situation:

A-Wing Ace gets lucky and hits Executor with Laser Cannon, which deals 1 damage. You take the whole amount of damage dealt to Exeecutor from one attack (that's our 1 damage) and then substract from it X, where X is the number in DR. So, 1-1=0 damage dealt.

Anakin comes flying around and fires a missile with damage 2 at Executor. It hits and after DR is applied, Executor sustains 1 damage.

Notice that the weakened version doesn't have DR anymore...
