| Looks like the next step for Wizards is to bring you gaming music. They're polling for favorite music genres, artists, concert attendance, and methods of distribution. I can just see the marketing plugs now....
Purchase Exemplars of Evil now and received five free Metallica or Rammstein mp3 downloads.
Or...
Coming soon to the E-Center (local event venue)...Garth Brooks, LIVE, in concert. Featuring a touching new ballad lamenting the demise of gnomes.

| I love the midnight syndicate. But that poll, not much interesting... I don't do background music in my sessions, too distracting.
It's nothing new, DnD music has been a thing for years now, and will be for years to come. | | Just a simple traveler from the swamps of Dagobah otherwise known as Florida. | I'll occassionally use a custom mix of songs I own, burned on to a new CD (legal) and on loop. Just mellow, background music, turned just loud enough to make ambience, but not distract or overpower.

| | I've got a great burned CD for horror games. It's a combination of creepy atmosphere music, some re-mixed Aliester Crowley stuff and dark ochestral music. | | Pathetic Earthlings. | Pool of Radiance PC Game Soundtrack (my favorite)
Can you actually count the PC Game Sountrack as an official soundtrack?
If so, you should probably toss in the IceWind Dale soundtrack which actually won an award.

| I may have to. I only have the PoR II soundtrack because they had the whole deluxe box for $20, and I took the adventure straight to Hastings for my $20 refund. It was awesome. free game, novel, dice and soundtrack.

| he Pool of Radiance II PC game had a deluxe edition, that came with dice, a dice bag, the RPG adventure, the computer game, the novel, and the soundtrack. I found one at EB games for $20 (clearance, naturally). Then I took the adventure out, and went to Hastings, where they returned it for $20, and kept all the other stuff.
Did the same with the City of Villains game, except I sold all the Heroclix on Ebay/locally.

| Arcanum really was a top notch title to be honest. I had so many hours of fun wandering around and exploring that world.
It was just a bit more steam-punk than I realized when I started in on it.

I loved it until I hit the upper level limit and then completely lost interest. It was fun up to that point. I think Arcanum was made by many of the same guys that made Fallout 1.
