Im putting my idea to work and hope that if it interests you, that you give it a chance and see what we can make of it. While dreamblade was running with turnee's, many players were forming teams that played together and worked together to attend events. I would like to reshape that concept and take that energy to a different idea. Guilds, thats right, lets get together in our local shops and form " Guilds " of players getting together and playing/promoting the game.

My idea is very simple at this time. Players start there own group and run there own game days as they choose. As everyones groups get better established, they issue challanges for other groups ( Guilds ) to come to there location to do battle. As I said, this is at a very basic level at this time with just the main purpose being stated, but with more people jumping on board, I think it could become something.

I have started a group on Facebook called  Gathering of Dreamlords
if your interested in the concept, please check it out.

Thanks

Jarrett Evans

Love this idea, and as we speak like to announce the second guidl. Mind you, we are a million miles apart ( :-) ).
Happy to announce that Dreamblade is alive and kicking in Holland, were the group of players is actually growing.
Looking forward to the open championship, witch we might ever consider attending.
So, introducing 'Team one Short', as the first official dutch Dreamblade Guild.

Let's keep Dreamblade alive !

Just want to say hello and thanks for giving this a try. If you go to facebook and check out the group page, you will see thats theres a place for you to post your groups info. The great part of this idea is that you can be anywhere in the world and join in. If you cant get on facebook, send me your info and Ill post you on there so others in your area can know about you to.

Thanks

Love this idea Jarrett!  The distance would be an issue, but that is where a site like this one comes in.  It would be nice to play some online dreamblade again - it would be my only option as the local scene has dried up completely here.....sigh....Calgary still has a couple of guys though.....I think.

A wand of silence means never having to say you're sorry.

I'm in the same boat, my friend. The game is dead, as I am all that shows interest. The reality is that theres still a lot of people who have a lot of game pieces out there. If you build it , they will come LOL. People enjoyed the game. work at your local shop at getting guys to play again. It will be slow but it will happen.

I have found that selling boosters for $3 and Starters for $6 has gotten a lot of people interested in the game at my store..;-)

It seems that unfortunately a lot of people quitting near me were in for a real prize. I guess lots of free product doesnt do it. well see how the future holds right lol
