Hello everyone,

Some fairly major changes are starting to happen with the mod. I've had to take the Epic Maps and put them into their own extension. Beware that you must download the Extensions zip file to get these maps. The mod is running into space issues. In the next release, I will split the rest of the maps into their own mod too.

Thanks to Robbdaman, I've placed the latest City of Peril maps into the mod and the extension. Here is the direct URL: http://www.vassalengine.org/community/index.php?option=com_vassal_modules&task=display&module_id=202&page=Files

When downloading the module, it may have the extension of ".mod" or ".zip". It doesn't matter what extension it has. Do not unzip the module.

Module 1-12-4 contains all the the legal units released through Unhallowed and all the legal non-Epic maps through City of Peril. There might be a few mistakes with this as the Blue Dragon Lair is probably legal for Epic.

The Extensions_1-12-4 file is a zip file that contains the Extensions for the Eternal Campaign, Iconics, and the new Epic Maps for the 1-12-4 module. Basically, this includes the original base map, the Lost Temple, Dragon's Hoard, and the two OC maps (Kobold Sewers and King of the Hill). The EC extension also includes the original "official" tiles and several tiles that support new spells in the Eternal Campaign that alter terrain. The Iconics extension contains the Iconics dragons (Gargantuan Blue Dragon) and related maps. The Epic Maps extension contains the Legal Epic maps.

To install the extensions, simply download the Extension zip file and extract (unzip) it into the folder that already contains the module file. The folder that is created will match the name of the module with a small change the the folder will end in "_ext". For instance, if the module is called "DDM_1-12-4.mod" the folder will be named "DDM_1-12-4_ext". The next time you load the Skirmish module, you should have the extra maps and tiles available.

Great job Tullywi. I did notice a problem with one of the Misc objects. The rubble marker is missing some of its features, once placed on the map it can not be clicked on to be moved or deleted.

Hmm, I'll double check on the rubble marker. I thought I fixed that when I had the mod go to 1-12.

I'm pretty sure Hellspike Prison is an Epic Map. If it isn't, check the Epics because I think I put it there. That requires you to load the Epic_Map_1-1.zip extension. If that doesn't load, you won't see any of the Epic Maps.

Well, I double checked the rubble. Yep, I think I did that on purpose. It is actually considered a tile. You need to shift + click on it to move it about, copy it, or delete it. I did that because I accidentally moved it a few times during testing as I moved other units through that space. Making it a tile means you can't accidentally move it. The unforeseen side effect is that is becomes really hard to move it on purpose too. I'm open to suggestions. When it comes into play, I might be able to attach a note to it that you need to shift + click to select it. Otherwise, I can just remove the tile tag from it and people will just need to be careful when moving around it.

It is there, but is marked as Epic so it's at the bottom of the list.

Hi, tullywi.  I'm having trouble with the new mod.  I can't load any of the epic maps that you separated into another file.  I downloaded DDM_1-12-4.mod and Extensions_1-12-4.zip into the same folder, and unzipped the latter so that I have a DDM_1-12-4_ext subfolder in the same main folder with the mod file.  That subfolder has 3 zip files.  When I open the new mod file and create a new map, the epic maps are not listed.  Can you help me out with this?
